LAND CLEARING · SITE WORK

Excavating and Land Clearing

Backyard clearing and new-construction digs in Quakertown and Coopersburg, cut by the crew that builds on top of them.

Chapter 01

What a dig without a plan leaves behind

Clearing land or cutting a site without a plan leaves problems you don't see until the first heavy rain. The grade ends up wrong, so water runs toward the house instead of away from it. Spoil gets pushed wherever is convenient. The ground left behind is soft or mixed, and the next project, whether a patio, a pad or a footing, ends up sitting on it.

Crushed stone gets compacted in thin lifts for a reason: loose fill packed down in one deep layer keeps settling for years. It's easy to skip when nobody is checking, and it's the main difference between a base that holds and one that shows up as a dip in the surface two winters later. A bad dig quietly taxes everything built afterward.

From backyard clearing to new-construction site work

Whether you want to clear out some land in the backyard or get going on a new construction project, we can do it for you. We work in Quakertown and Coopersburg across that whole range, and the same in-house crew handles each job from the first cut.

Because that crew also lays Techo-Bloc patios and walls, the excavating is cut for what's going on top of it: the footprint, the depth of base, the fall of the surface and the path water takes away. The person who digs the hole knows what will sit in it. You can count on honest and fair pricing, and on us to tackle projects that others might not have picked.

Chapter 03

Cleanup, spoil and returned calls

A dig leaves a mess if nobody owns the end of it. Spoil piles, tracked dirt and ruts are part of the job, and handling them is part of the price. One homeowner, Richard K., wrote on Angi: "Areas where work was done were thoroughly cleaned up." That's the standard we hold ourselves to when the machines leave your yard.

We return all calls, because every one of them is important. If a question comes up halfway through, or the weather changes the plan, you reach the same crew that's working on your property. Call (610) 346-6867 with the layout in mind and we'll talk through the dig before anyone moves dirt. Estimates are free, and we've been at it since 1992.
